Twinkl Symbols is a comprehensive tool for creating, teaching, learning, and communicating using a wide range of teacher-led symbols and customizable templates. Developed by Twinkl, the world's largest educational publisher, this app offers a variety of features to enhance communication and learning experiences.

One of the standout features of Twinkl Symbols is its collection of over 1500 professionally designed and illustrated symbols. With color and black and white variants available, users have access to a diverse range of symbols that are categorized, searchable, and continuously updated. This ensures that the app covers core and popular topics, while also expanding its offerings on a regular basis.

A recent addition to the app is the Communication Books feature. This allows users to create communication books with multiple pages and a speech bar for more effective communication. Additionally, existing boards can be added as pages to these books.

Twinkl Symbols offers the convenience of saving and printing boards, books, and any symbol within the app. Furthermore, users can easily share their boards and books with other app users, fostering collaboration and communication within educational settings.

<li>With the Button Mode, users can create customizable buttons to play pre-recorded phrases or their own voice recordings. This feature adds further versatility and personalization to the app.</li>
<li>Another noteworthy feature is the Type2Talk Mode, which offers a simple and effective mode featuring text-to-speech capabilities from keyboard input.</li>
<li>Twinkl Symbols provides a wide range of teacher-led, customizable board and book templates that cater to various educational needs. These templates can be used in settings such as Now and Next and Sequences, Timetables and Planners, Rewards and Targets, Task Schedules and Debriefs, Choice Boards, Flashcards and Communication Cards, Picture and Word Banks, and more.</li>
<li>The app also features a Favourites section for quick access to commonly used symbols, as well as an organizing feature that allows users to quickly access their saved boards and books in My Boards/My Books.</li>

Twinkl Symbols offers extensive customization options, such as replacing default text labels with custom ones for each symbol and board template. Users also have the option to apply colorful semantics or custom styling to symbols as they are added to their boards.

To ensure security and privacy, Twinkl Symbols includes locking features that can prevent changes or exiting back to the main menu without authorization. Furthermore, the app provides a settings area where users can customize the app according to their specific needs.
